Fluis became the official marketing sponsor of Circle Theatre of Grand Rapids beginning with the 2007 Main Stage season. We developed seasonal, show and special event marketing, advertising and promotional materials as well as produce the Playbill for this cherished Grand Rapids institution.
The entertainment choices available to West Michigan residents have grown exponentially over the past 15 years. As a result, local theater in general and Circle Theatre specifically have seen a decline in attendance and in their share-of-voice in entertainment editorial and “buzz.”
Fluis worked with Circle to identify core assets. (In 2007, it was simply applause.) We then created consistent marketing materials, from audition flyers to posters, newspaper and cable ads, web site banners, e-mail blasts, cable and radio advertising and the Playbill.
